Mile High United Way Awards CVNA With $20,000 Grant
This June, we were awarded a 2020-2021 Strategic Investment grant from Mile High United Way. We are thrilled to be partnering with them to support the care of our community!
You may not first think of home health care as advancing economic opportunity, but our work has a big impact on populations that don’t easily receive care elsewhere. We provide care for low income seniors, those without secure housing and work with older adults to remain independent in their communities for longer.
Quality health care is a necessary foundation for taking opportunities leading to economic independence. Colorado VNA is able to serve all in our communities because of grants like the Strategic Investment award and individual contributions from those who value the services we provide. Being a member of our community is vital for these partnerships and as part of our mission.
We’re grateful that Mile High United Way recognized the value of caring at home for our patients. We’re already hard at work bringing resources to our communities so that we can fulfill the goal of the grant to create hope for the future for every family.
