Heart of Caring Fund and In-Kind Donations

Allocations from Colorado VNA’s Heart of Caring Fund (HOC) are used to provide health and wellness care and items to vulnerable patients so that they may remain independent and safe in their homes.

The Heart of Caring Fund helps pay for items and services that maximize safety and independence, that are not otherwise covered by insurance and that a patient cannot afford on their own. Some of the past requests include items such as grab bars, diabetic socks, wheelchair ramps, light housekeeping tools, linens, and additional therapy or nursing visits.
