VNA provides high-quality health care for medically underserved and under/uninsured seniors and aging patients living at or below federal poverty guidelines. This includes “charity” or “indigent care.” In 2009, more than 650 patients received free medical care. VNA’s indigent care services provide in-home medical care, personal care and wellness services to keep low-income and indigent senior patients living independently and self-sufficiently at home.
