Founded by community volunteers in 1889 as the Denver Flower Mission dedicated to comforting Denver’s sick and poor, Visiting Nurse Association was Colorado’s first home healthcare agency. More than 120 years later, VNA’s compassionate, dedicated and experienced healthcare professionals are recognized for their expert, personal medical attention and for their strong tradition of assuring continuity of care while creating warm relationships with our patients.

 



A nonprofit agency serving Coloradans, VNA is strengthened by numerous community partnerships, grants and donations to the Heart of Caring fund. This support gives us the foundation that enables VNA to respond to community health needs—providing programs and services that foster health, independence, dignity and comfort for patients and their families.
